In part 1 of this series we talked about some of bad habits that create the differences between the broke person and the millionaire; there are really 3 parts.
The first part was basically MINDSET…
Now we are going to talk about part #2 “POVERTY BY ASSOCIATION”
#1 Lack of Mentorship is the number one bad habit when it comes to broke people.
The old saying is “You are Who You Hang Out With”.
If you really compared income levels of your closest 5 friends they would be really close…
It is just a fact that if you hang around with broke people, you most likely will pick up their bad habits and stay broke as well…
There are 2 habits you need to acquire to take your income higher. One is hiring a coach or mentor to gain the knowledge needed, which can be costly. The other way is to really bust your butt and work longer and harder to prove your worth… do the research and take action.
#2 Broke people seem to have all the answers. (Which are really just bad habits and excuses)
They could be referred to as Know-it-alls…
There is another old saying “The Wise learn more from the Fools than the Fools learn from the Wise”
Be Humble… You don’t know what you don’t know…
#3 Most-people won’t get out of their COMFORT ZONE
You have to make a habit of putting yourself around people to challenge you to do more, or make changes in your life.
This goes along with #1 as well.
Once the rut is made and you are in it, believe me it can be uncomfortable to break bad habits…
#4 99% of people live each day avoiding pain and seeking pleasure.
You sometimes have to take a risk and feel some pain of a setback to gain the grit that it takes to become better.
You have to learn from the trials and tribulations that you come face to face with every day. (And believe me, they will come)
#5 Broke people tend to be FOLLOWERS
Where-as wealthy people make waves and get out in front of the crowd.
Most people have the bad habit of just getting by with following the basics rather than taking action to make the necessary changes needed to make their lives better.
Even if new things and solutions to problems are presented to you, it is still your choice to get rid of those bad habits so you can take action and move ahead.
Please realize that some of these bad habits can really be taken personally and this is only meant to be helpful for changing you lifestyle and mindset…
I so hope you got great Value from this post and look forward to Part #3…
